animating data-- a few issues

Tim Duly
Hi,

I've been looking at this page (
http://github.enthought.com/mayavi/mayavi/mlab_animating.html) to animate
data.  I had two quick questions:

1.  Is there anyway to see which options are available to change?  For
example, there's s.mlab_source.scalars and s.mlab_source.x .  How can I
view (I'm in IPython) what other variables I can modify?

2.  The documentation reads: "Try the examples with the
name mlab.test_<name>_anim, i.e. where the name ends with an _anim to see
how these work and run." However, I cannot do this.  In IPython:

In [43]: run mlab.test_simple_surf_anim
ERROR: File `mlab.test_simple_surf_anim.py` not found.

or even:

In [44]: mlab.test_simple_surf_anim
Out[44]: <function test_simple_surf_anim at 0x8d6dc08>

but no luck-- any hints on this?

Thanks,
Tim

Call the function to run the demo:

In [44]: mlab.test_simple_surf_anim()

Tab completion is helpful. Also, calling the 'print_traits()' methods
will give you a smaller list of potentially interesting attributes.
