EnthoughtBase on github

Giraudon Cyril
Hi all,

I 'm looking for EnthoughtBase (for traits 3.X) package on github but I
can't find it even in old_namespace branches.

Has it been renamed ?

Thanks  a lot,

Cyril.

It has been removed, the functionality which was in EnthoughtBase
is now in: traits, pyface, apptools

In case, you need to look at what the last EnthoughtBase source
code looked like:
http://www.enthought.com/repo/ets/EnthoughtBase-3.1.0.tar.gz

Let me add that to help you move to the new namespace, ETS contains an
ets3to4 script that you can run on a given folder to change the imports in
your code to follow the new namespace. In addition there is a new package
etsproxy that can be installed to run code using the oldnamespace with ETS
4.X packages:
https://github.com/enthought/etsproxy
Is it also the location of the ets3to4 script.

Hope this helps.

Re: EnthoughtBase on github

Giraudon Cyril
Thanks a lot for your quick answers,

In fact, I will upgrade my code but in a few months.
For the moment I would like to build a new traits 3.X environment and I
thought I could do this from github.
(github seemed to contain all code to build an old namespaced enthought
environment except EnthoughtBase.)

Thanks a lot,

Cyril.
